RABRI RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE RABRI
Ingredients for Rabri Recipe-
- Milk (full fat)- 1 1/2 liters
- Sugar- 2 1/2 tablespoons
- Green Cardamom Powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Almonds- 10 sliced
- Saffron- 5-7 strands
- Pistachio- 10 sliced
How to Make Rabri- MethodBring the milk to boil in a deep, heavy based, pan over medium flame.
When milk starts to boil, reduce flame to low.Stir at regular intervals of 3-4 minutes but not continuously.
Move the layer of foaming from boiling milk towards the rim, do the same process for next cream layer.
Cook until milk is reduced to 1/3 of the original quantity.
Add Sugar and stir to dissolve it.Add cardamom powder, Sliced Almonds, Saffron strands and sliced pistacho and mix well.
Cook for 2 minutes and turn off the heat, remove the cream from the rim and fold it into milk.
Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours before serving.
Rabri Recipe is ready, transfer prepared sweet kesar rabri in serving bowl and garnish with almonds and Kesar.Serve chilled.
